/ BEHIND THE PROJECTAbout this project
A premium Dubai-inspired furniture e-commerce storefront with a complete, publicly explorable business dashboard. The portfolio edition lets visitors browse 72 illustrative products, try a cart and simulated checkout, and explore CRM, stock, orders, finance and trade workflows without signing in. All records, identities, prices and transactions are fictional.
The challenge
Present a sophisticated retail and wholesale furniture website alongside the complicated day-to-day business operations that support it, while making the entire portfolio demonstration easy for visitors to explore. The original files comprised a theme, a commerce extension and three independent enhancements, with dependencies on WooCommerce and protected staff functionality. A public showcase also needed to avoid exposing genuine customer information, merchant data, payments or operational access.
Our approach
Reviewed the five supplied ZIP archives, preserved the premium Atelier storefront visual language and incorporated the relevant homepage grid, interface cleanup and illustrative product photo assets. Developed a standalone, browser-local demonstration layer for the shopping journey and management interfaces, replacing authentication-dependent production operations with isolated, synthetic workflows. Added 72 illustration-based product records, 12 furniture categories, consistent six-card homepage sections, a simulated checkout and a floating CRM-style chat. Validated PHP/JavaScript syntax and exercised selected front-end interactions using a headless browser. Prepared a 4K featured image and supporting gallery images.

Project outcome
A functioning offline-rendered portfolio prototype was tested with 72 fictional products, six visible cards in each homepage product section, and 16 accessible dashboard navigation workspaces. Sample cart, catalogue search, product editing, CRM display, chat replies, inventory changes and reset actions were exercised. No production sales, conversion metrics or client commercial outcomes are claimed. Full live WordPress installation testing remains to be completed.
Atelier Furniture is an elegant, editorial-style furniture storefront concept tailored to the Dubai and UAE market. The visual design features a full-width lifestyle hero, curated room collections, modern product photography, clear AED display pricing, seasonal offers and a dedicated trade enquiry section. The mobile-responsive layout supports familiar online-store journeys while keeping navigation clean and approachable.
The original supplied website consisted of a custom furniture theme and multiple supporting modules for commerce operations, product photography, the six-column homepage grid and interface cleanup. For the portfolio edition, these have been consolidated into one installable theme and one dedicated demonstration plugin, while the real commerce workflows have been replaced with safe simulations.
The interactive demonstration includes 72 synthetic furniture listings across 12 categories with separately bundled illustrative photos. Visitors can search and filter products, inspect item details, save favourites, compare items, build a preview cart and complete a simulated checkout. A floating chat and a wholesale quotation form illustrate enquiry capture without sending messages or accessing real contacts.
An accessible management environment presents 16 practical workspaces, including executive overview, product management, sample orders, customers, CRM, chat inbox, inventory, fulfilment, procurement, returns, finance, wholesale pricing, promotions, SEO, settings and activity history. Visitors can try the controls using a simulated role selector, modify sample records, export a fictional catalogue and restore the original demonstration data at any time.
This project is a portfolio showcase, not a live merchant store. Sample figures are illustrative, no genuine order or payment processing takes place, and changes are isolated to each visitor’s browser. The design and representative workflows are provided to demonstrate the breadth of the e-commerce and operational interface.
